The Southampton cruise terminals are easily reached using a variety of different transports and methods.
By car: Car is the most popular way of reaching the City, Mayflower, Ocean or QE2 terminals. They are about a quarter of an hour drive (depending on traffic / time of the day) from Junction 14 of the M3 at Eastleigh. Following the M27 and then M271 will get you close to the long stay parking options available near the cruise terminals and docks.
Passenger parking for cruise ships is only available by pre-booking as there is nowhere free of charge to park for any length of time close to the terminals in Southampton.
Airport: From Southampton International Airport the most cost effective way of getting to the cruise terminals is via the railway. Travel to Southampton Central and then grab a taxi to the docks.
Train: Southampton Central can easily be reached from London Waterloo in about one hour using South West Trains regular services. Again you will need to get a taxi for the final part of your journey, unless you face the arduous task of dragging your luggage to the ship yourself!
If you do decide to travel with your baggage by car, long stay parking for passengers or crew is not a problem, as ParknCruise is just around the corner from the terminals. Leave your vehicle with us in our indoor car park and we will take you right to the terminals with your luggage ready for your holiday. When your ship arrives back in Southampton, refreshed from your cruise, we will be waiting to pick up and return you to your car.
